Tell me, when you were a teenager, what lie worked on your parents most of the time?

From my experience, teenagers are very clever when it comes to deceiving their parents. What is your dirty little lie that worked on your parents? I always got away with telling them I was somewhere else other than where I really was. Mainly because they trusted me for whatever reason I don't know.
