Some info on Clear internet service?

Can somebody who is familiar with the Clear interent service give me a little insight? What exactly do they send you in the mail? Do you plug whatever they send you right into a phone jack or what? And what has your experience been like? Maybe a rating from one to ten? I'm looking to get the home internet for me and my girlfriend at our apartment...good idea?
