Should I be mad that my folks?

Should I be mad that my folks have been killing some of the pets that have names we had wile growing up? They also lie about what is nourish-mint on the table. I believe this is called Fictitious bronze by proxy. I had to become a vegetarian vegan because I would have server diarrhea and vomiting after years of not being let known what they were serving.
