How Do I Tell Him I Want A Baby?

I am almost 23 years old, and my husband is 35. We have been together 4 years. When we began talking, he always said he never wanted more children after his ex took his son from him and moved away, never allowing him to see him. I did lie and say I didnt want a child either. (i have no children.) After four years I feel its time to let go.. Admit how I feel. I want a baby with him. I have a huge void in my life without a child, as my wish has always been to be a mother. (i raised a child whose biological mother took him from me after 2 years.) I dont want to leave him for a man who does want children because I would be lost without him. He is my soulmate so I can live with this void for him. But should I tell him I want a baby? I know he doesnt, hes very strong about protection. I would NEVER deceive him and get pregnant on purpose. How do I tell him? Should I?
