Well I'm turning 13 on the fifteenth and I weigh in at 129 pounds and I'm 5'5 in a half. I'm well-nourished. I eat plenty of rice, bread, protiend fruits, and veggies. I was just wondering is normal that I weigh this much considering my age. I'm not the kind o count calories and eat fat free salads, I'm just curios if it's normal. Thanks.

Okay so I could write alot about this. Basically my father cheated on my mom and left our family. He was completely irrational and delusional during the whole situation, blaming everything on my mom. A week later he called my mom and said he wanted to come back and fix things. My dad is bipolar but has had no huge outbursts ever since he started his medication a few years back, until now. He came back but he did not seem okay. He was shaking, he was saying weird and very judgmental things; the guilt was definitely crushing him... but he was still blaming things on my mom. He found out my mom made her own bank account (because he left her) so he started ranting on at my mom saying she betrayed him and cussing her out (obviously ridiculous). My mom was scared so she was just crying and saying sorry. He turned around and said to me "Looks like you're mom's starting more problems again" and I felt I needed to defend her so I said "No, you're the problem" and he freaked out. He charged at me, kicked a chair at me, and pushed me, my mom started pushing him back as he tried to throw punches. He yelled "I'm gonna kick your f***ing ***" and "wanna go buddy!?" (I'm 17). I was waiting for him to just hit me so I could hit him back but my mom started pushing him so he started kicking and punching things and he threw a chair out the window. He then continued to cuss at us and threaten us and started to pack his bags to leave again. He continued to make a scene and he left. He then sent me a long text the next morning saying he was so sorry, that he loves me, and that he really hopes i will forgive him one day (he still hasn't apologized for breaking up our family...). I keep ignoring his texts because I'm angry but should I be more understanding since he is bipolar? Is being bipolar an excuse for any of this? well yes and no. i take it seriously but i do not base all life descions on it. honestly both my parents are christian and tell me it's not good to look at it. My female cat refuses to feed her newborn kittens and i would feel guilty if they were to die,what can i do?:(?

I have a female cat who gave birth 2 weeks ago...She had five kittens, three already died (died instantly) and i'm trying very hard to save the last two! They are very badly nourished and i think another one is about to die today..I took them to a vet and he told me there was not much to do but buy kitten formula from petco or any other pet store, or to make a homemade kitty formula for the kittens to take for the first day,and see how they react and then if they show positive signs to go ahead and buy the vitamized kitty formula from a pet store. He gave me the recipe to this home-made formula( 8oz homogenized milk,2 egg yolks,one teaspoon of salad oil and one drop liquid pediatric vitamins (optional). He told me to keep them in a very warm environment.To fix a basket with plenty of warm blankets etc..P.s They don't like it there.. And my female cat detests them and refuses to breast feed them,( I'm so sad i don't want the kittens to die)..But the vet does not give me much hope.He said it's like a 50/50 chance of survival. The kittens seem to stop crying when they sleep beside me or i cuddle them to sleep..So for now i'm basically not sleeping at all! i'm just watching over them since they are sleeping with me for now..I'm basically playing mother and they look so fragile,sweet,and innocent...Idk i just can't think of them perishing.It would give me a really bad input, as i'm trying really hard to save them... I'm trying everything that's within my ability to help these kittens..i took them to a vet, i'm feeding them 33cc or 1.1 oz kitten formula per day 9 to 12 times a day, I keep them warm , clean them with baby wipes etc.. I'm really trying my extreme best to save atleast one! 30 day hair straightener?

Ok, so I was reading the latest issue of Glamour where they were talking about at home alternatives to the brazilian blowout. (If you don't know what that is, don't bother answering this question.) My hair isn't naturally super wavy or curly or anything, but i do straighten everyday. and i mean everyyyday. thus, my hair is extremely damaged and basically won't grow at all. So this product called Organix Ever Straight Brazilian Keratin Therapy, is supposed to work for 30 days. Would this be a good idea for me to use, so i can lay off the flat iron and nourish my hair back to health, while still being super straight? Have you guys used it, do you like it? How do I fix my hair?!?! I don't know what to do!!!?

Okay. I started dying my hair when I was 12 years old. Between 12-14 I only dyed my hair like, 5 times. Then, when I turned 15, I started doing stuff like bleaching, and multiple dyes. I am now sixteen and I have colored my hair about 15 times and bleached it totally about 5-6 times, not including highlights, which I have done those about 5 times too. I bleached it blonde, and I think I left it in for too long, because some strands started falling out. Recently, I decided to go from a beautiful blonde color I actuall like, to a bright bright unnatural red. So, like a bad ***, I went to school with it and they kicked me out until I changed it because it was "too distracting". And I was pissed. I tryed an auburn color, and it turned it bright purple and white. I was, again, angry and I had already spent about 15 dollars on dyes that weren't turning out. Anyway, so I ran out and spent FIVE more dollars on some black hair dye which did not come out black at all. It came out all ashy and brown. But I delt with it. Anyway, summer vacation came and I bleached my bangs blonde and I put dyed them blue. And then, I hit the local pool for the summer and it turns out, blue hair dye and chlorine = green hair. Plus, after swimming, everytime I would wash my hair, as it would dry, it would be hard, like, I had dryed syrup in my hair, and then when I brushed it, it looked like straw. So yet again, (this is about a month after the brown incident) I ran out and got a brown/red color. I tryed to dye it and the color took in some areas and just stayed brown in others, and when I washed it, the blue/green was still visible and it looked gray. It looked horryfying. (This was about two weeks ago) So while it was still wet, I put in a hot oil treatment and then some leave in nourishing conditioner. And it started falling out when I brushed it. As any normal human would, I FREAKED. I had about breast legnth hair, and here it is falling out. So I just delt with it, went to sleep that night, and when I woke up, I got a shower, let it dry, went to brush it, and the back was shoulder legnth. MY HAIR FELL OUT, PEOPLE! I was so upset. I had the hair on either sides of my face that were still breast legnth, and the back was a good 5 inches shorter. So anyway, I cut it myself and it felt healthier. I waited two days, and it seemed fine. So I went swimming and when I got out of the pool, my boyfriend looked at me horrified and said "You're hair is GREEN!" and I wa like "Woah. WTF?" and I looked and sure enough... It was. So now, I am sitting here with brownish green hair and I don't know what to do. And now it's doind the hard thing again. :( Any suggestions on how I can make my hair healthy again without cutting it? Or spending hundreds of dollars at a salon. (And I don't plan on dying it again, so please, no one use that as a suggestion.)

Is my husband over reacting?

Last night I returned from work to find my husband asleep on the couch with my 2 kids standing over him. When I asked what they were doing they popped up real quick smiling all too cheerily, my boy hiding something behind his back. Then I saw my husbands missing right eyebrow. Turns out they had found mommy's veet and wanted to test it out. When Jack (my husband) finally woke up and saw he screamed like a little girl and held his hand over his eyebrow like he had been shot and fell to the ground rolling around screaming. He ended up taking 4 days off of work to "heal himself" and everyday when I come home I find him naked as a jaybird covered in blankets from the tallest hair on his head to his toes. All of the time. He walks to the kitchen like that, then back to the bed room. No clothes. About 6 blankets. At first it was a little entertaining, but now he hasn't been out of the bedroom excluding the kitchen, and he's going crazy and popping out scaring me and our kids in his blanket attire. Did I mention he was a radio host? NO ONE EVEN SEES HIM!!! He is annoying me and I feel like I married a child. How do I get him to get over this and stop acting like he's been mutilated for life?

I need a healthy way to loose weight?

Wow! Sounds like a tough Grandma! Well...here's what I would suggest....keep eating the "served" food at home, but just eat half. That will cut down the calorie intake. When you can do something about it, such as school, eat healthy, whole foods, such as fruits, veggies, etc. Drink LOTS of water. I was taught that if you are drinking 64 oz a day, its like you are passing with a D-. 64oz is the minimum. It will be hard to do that at first, but make it a habit, especially this summer when you are not at school, and can drink whenever you want. Start building up you water intake. It is WONDERFUL at flushing fat out of your system. It will feel like you have to pee all the time...but its doing a great deal for your body. Hope this helps. Good luck with they boy!

How can i make my hair less greasy?

Lately my hair has been really greasy around my roots...I have straight, medium length, somewhat fine hair...i wash it every night (i am aware that sleeping on wet hair makes it more greasy, so i wash it early at night so it has time to dry completely before i go to bed) I use a few different types of shampoo (sometimes i use all of them at once, sometimes by themselves) I use Aveeno Nourish+Volume Shampoo, Herbal Essences Body Envy Shampoo and Herbal Essences Drama Clean shampoo. I also use 2 different conditioners (Pantene Beautiful Lengths Frizz Control Conditioner and Herbal Essences Drama Clean Conditioner) and i dont put it on the top of my head, just the back of my head all the way down to my ends. I rinse my hair very thoroughly with warm water, then after that i put some anti frizz serum on the ends, comb it, and let my hair air dry....Yet Somehow by the end of everyday my hair feels and looks limp and greasy. What should i do?

Will this help me lose back the weight I gained?

Until May 21st (for 3 weeks total), I am going to eat 1,600 calories a day. I used to binge at night, (which made me gain 17 pounds from last september until now), and not eat during the day slowed down my metabolic rate a LOT. Now I weigh 114 pounds at 5'3, and I want to go back to the way I was, (97 lbs), so to get there I'm going to eat 1,600 calories a day to trick my body into thinking it's being nourished, and then I'm going to gradually decrease my intake to 900 a day so that I will lose weight. Will this work?

You need to eat. The fact that whenever you get up to get extremly dizzy tells me that you have to be extremly undernourished. You need to eat at least 1200 calories a day. An easy way to do this and not upset yourself is to eat very small amounts very often. Keep small bags of things like nuts. Eat one every hour. You need to eat more, or you will end up in the hospital.
